April/Spring 2025 Survey Results

The April/Spring 2025 radioCount release includes data for four markets: Belleville, Peterborough, North Bay and Thunder Bay.
This dataset is comprised of measurement between October 28, 2024 and April 27, 2025 (Continuous Measurement).
There are two station changes in the Peterborough market:
CKPTFM – Move 99.7 is now Pete 99.7
CKQMFM – Pure Country 105 is now CKXPFM – KX 105
Highlights from April/Spring 2025
- Across the four measured markets, radio continues to perform strongly, with individuals aged 12 and over tuning in for an average of 16.5 hours each week.
- Radio listening remained strong among key demographics. Adults aged 18–49 tuned in for an average of 17.3 hours per week, while those aged 25–54 averaged 17.8 hours. Time spent listening (TSL) among both men and women in these groups was consistent with that of the overall adult audience.
- Adult Contemporary and Hot AC remain the leading radio formats, together capturing a 21% share of total market tuning. Rock stations follow closely behind with a 18.8% share.
